Joint Air Power Defending Freedom, 12 p.m. Virginia Beach Boardwalk @ 17th Street
Get ready to watch an awesome aerial display with F-22 Raptors, F-15 Eagles, F-18 Hornets, HC-130 Rescue aircraft, and HH-60 Rescue helicopters. These aircraft will perform a joint combat search and rescue exercise right before your eyes. You will see the Air Force's finest pararescuemen from the 71st Rescue Squadron, stationed at Moody Air Force Base, jump out of a high-flying HC-130, rescue soldiers on the ground and get lifted to safety by the HH-60, all while the F-22, F-15 and F-18 aircraft provide aerial support. This will be an event to remember!
