History

Air Force Weeks were established in 2006 by the Chief of Staff of the Air Force.  Air Force Week objectives were to bring together an incredible mix of our amazing people, unique platforms, and premier recruiting assets to provide the big picture of the Air Force mission and way of life.

In 2006, the inaugural Air Force Week was held in St. Louis, Missouri.

In 2007, five Air Force Weeks and two Heritage Weeks were held in Columbus (OH), Hawaii, Las Vegas, New England, Phoenix, Sacramento, and St. Louis.

In 2008, three Air Force Weeks were held in Philadelphia, Omaha, and Los Angeles.

In 2009, Air Force Weeks were held in Hampton Roads, VA, Salt Lake City, UT, and Sacramento, CA.

In 2010, two Air Force Weeks were held in New York City, NY and Cocoa Beach, FL.

In 2012, Air Force Week will once again visit New York City! Hope to see you there!!
