Air Force Week NYC
Welcome to Air Force Week New York City! From August 24th through August 29th, the streets of New York City will be buzzing with the excitement of Air Force Week. Air Force Bands, performance teams such as Tops in Blue, and other artists will take part in the festivities, as well as New York born senior leaders and Airmen from throughout the Air Force. In addition, the Thunderbirds will be performing in an Air Force Week related event on Wednesday, August 25th at the Atlantic City Air Show.

August 24: Open USAF displays, 10:00 am-5:00 pm, Pier 86 of the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum - FREE
August 24: Queens Proclamation Ceremony, 1:00 pm, Kew Gardens - FREE
August 25: Air Force Volunteer Day, 10:00 am-2:00 pm, Grand Army Plaza of Prospect Park, Brooklyn - FREE
August 25: Open USAF displays, 10:00 am-5:00 pm, Pier 86 of the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum - FREE
August 25: Air Force Salute to Heroes, 11:00 am-2:00 pm, Peters VA Hospital, The Bronx - Airmen will greet and interact with VA patients and staff
August 25: The Air Force rock band, Maximum Impact, performs a free concert, 12:00 pm-2:00 pm, South Street Seaport, Manhattan - FREE
August 25: Air Force Night with the Brooklyn Cyclones, 7:00 pm, MCU Park, Coney Island |
