Members of the U.S. Air Force Drill Team appeared on WPIX CW Channel 11 morning news Aug. 24 in association with Air Force Week New York City. There are more than 32,000 native sons and daughters of New York serving in the Air Force with 1,500 of them serving around the world today in contingency operations. Air Force Week New York City is Aug. 24-29 with various displays, flyovers, band concerts and more throughout the city’s five boroughs.
